Wow! This marks a significant milestone for me. I’m embarking on a new journey into the realms of writing and blogging, a first in my illustrious career! And why, you might wonder? Well, it’s rooted in my belief of paying it forward. In my youth, I was generously imparted with a wealth of experience and knowledge that has shaped the work I’ve accomplished thus far and will continue to shape what lies ahead.
I envision this space as a free-flowing platform where I can engage in discussions, offer reviews, unleash creativity, share experiences, and above all, find joy in the beauty and adventures that life offers. As my passion for live entertainment persists, I’m taking a digital plunge into the unknown depths of Mike’s unique expression.
I indulge in reading, painting, walking, creating, sewing, performing, designing, producing, and engaging in various hobbies that often seamlessly intertwine with my work. TV doesn’t hold my interest and I don’t own one; instead, I immerse myself in movies through virtual reality. (Fun fact: I’ve been in the VR scene for over 20 years! My zany character, Zooka, originated in a virtual world, soaring around Blackpool Tower. We made a film… ill find it and post that here asap. Maybe people will finally grasp the concept when they see everyone sporting Apple VR headsets – he was a character ahead of his time!)
And, as a token of appreciation, I’ll endeavour to share an inspirational video with you all. Here’s one of my all-time favourite performances by Lance Burton. Witnessing him live in Las Vegas was a privilege, and meeting him afterwards left an indelible mark. He was my hero throughout my youth.
Currently, I’m engrossed in Barry Hines’ novel “Kestrel for a Knave” – a true masterpiece.

As a true friend of 20 years now and recently reacquainted, I can say the world feels a little bit more magical in your presence old pal. Find friends that do that. And cherish them.
